Teenage drug addiction is a serious issue in the world today. Teenagers are getting pressure from their friends and peers to use drugs, and they are so prevalent in our society that most kids nowadays know more drug slang than adults ever did. In order for adults to be properly educated on what kids are hearing these days, they have to know the vernacular. Here is a list of current teen drug slang:
BLOW: (Cocaine) AKA charlie, coke, dust, flake, white lady, nose candy, powder, rock, rails, snowbirds, white, and yayo.
BOY: (Heroin) AKA: Antifreeze, Big H, brown sugar, dope, golden girls, H, horse, junk, poison, skag, smack, sweet dreams, tar, and train.
COLD MEDICINE ABUSE
o Dextromethorphan (DXM): Drug contained in over-the-counter cough suppressants. After 900 milligrams, it becomes a hallucinogen. Other slang for DXM: Tussin, Candy, Dex, DM, Drex, Red Devils, Robo, Rojo, Skittles, Velvet, Poor Man's X, and Vitamin D.
